The Tximist Foundation celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Tximist Cup this year, firmly established as one of the world’s leading international women’s youth football tournaments. This special edition will bring together some of the top clubs in international football, influential leaders in women’s sport, and legendary players, reaffirming the foundation’s commitment to equal opportunities, inclusion, and social development through sport.
The 10th International Tximist Cup U14 & U17 will take place in Hondarribia (Gipuzkoa, Spain) on June 12, 13 and 14, featuring ten elite international clubs:
Over the past decade, more than 20,000 players have participated in the competition, with over 80 clubs taking part, transforming the Tximist Cup into a global meeting point for talent development, education, and the core values of women’s football.
For the second consecutive year, the tournament will be played using The Equality Ball, a football with a social purpose that symbolizes the Tximist Foundation’s commitment to equal opportunities.
Funds generated through this initiative support international social-impact projects, including the construction of the first Equality Stadium in Kenya, scheduled to open in November.
The project also continues to distribute footballs and sports equipment to communities across different countries, using sport as a powerful tool for social transformation.
As part of the 10th-anniversary celebrations, the She Leads Congress will take place on June 17 at 7:00 PM in the City Hall Plenary Hall of Donostia–San Sebastián. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
The event will bring together Real Sociedad players, former footballers, coaches, sports executives, and industry leaders to discuss leadership, equal opportunities, and the transformative role of women in sport and society.
She Leads has become a benchmark international program that extends far beyond football. Throughout the year, it has organized events and leadership initiatives in countries such as Senegal and India, creating spaces for learning, inspiration, and reflection for future generations.

The Tximist Foundation continues to expand its international reach and create new opportunities for young female footballers worldwide.
One of the most significant developments this year is an international agreement that will allow previous Tximist Cup champions to participate in the first elite women’s football tournament to be held in Shanghai this August.
The tournament’s social and inclusive dimension also continues to grow. Following last year’s initiative, which enabled young participants from social projects in Angola to compete through a partnership with LaLiga, this year girls from social development projects in South Africa will have the opportunity to experience the Tximist Cup and compete alongside Real Sociedad.
