The Tximist Cup is not only an international youth football tournament. It is also a benchmark for promoting women’s refereeing. Here, female referees find a unique stage to grow, develop, and prove their worth.
Since 2018, the Tximist Cup has been a pioneer in Spain in implementing 100% female refereeing in all its matches. This commitment remains and has become one of our hallmarks.

These photos are living proof of how our referees have grown alongside the tournament. They have always shown professionalism, authority, and respect on the pitch.
One of the main incentives for our referees is the chance to officiate teams of the highest world level.
Therefore, each edition becomes a platform for referee development.
Here, every match is a first-class learning experience.
The demands and visibility help our licensed referees improve their technical level and confidence. In addition, it prepares them for national and international competitions.
In each edition, the licensed referees hold the highest authority on the pitch.
They can stop or suspend a match if they detect unsportsmanlike behaviour. They can also act if they see behaviour that affects fair play or the smooth running of the competition.
The organisation is clear about it:

Next year, we will celebrate our 10th edition. This milestone strengthens our commitment to women’s refereeing and equality in football.
We will continue to give visibility to women in such an essential role as refereeing. We believe this promotes equality and increases vocations. In addition, it boosts the level of women’s refereeing across the country.
