Aintzane Encinas, President of the TXIMIST FOUNDATION and member of the Board of Trustees of the LALIGA Foundation, traveled to London to participate in a lecture and training as part of the collaboration between LALIGA and Bloomsbury Football. The partnership marks LALIGA's first solidarity effort in the United Kingdom, demonstrating its commitment to grassroots football.
Bloomsbury Football, a non-profit organization, operates near the LALIGA offices in King’s Cross, London, and works with 5,000 young people weekly.
The philosophy of Bloomsbury Football focuses on providing access to regular high-quality football training, improving physical and mental health, strengthening communities, and teaching valuable life skills. The LALIGA Foundation supports these principles and, through this strategic partnership, shows its support for grassroots football in London and contributes to the continued development of the sport in the United Kingdom.
Aintzane Encinas expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to meet the people behind Bloomsbury and praised the excellent work they do for the participants and society. The partnership reinforces the commitment of all parties to equal growth and comprehensive education.
Keegan Pierce, LALIGA Global Network Delegate for the United Kingdom and Ireland, emphasized that LALIGA seeks to support sports development and increase the interest of fans in Spanish football while supporting Bloomsbury Football’s innovative work and contributing to the local community in London.
