The 9th edition of the TximistCup, held in June 2025, was a resounding success in its commitment to equal opportunities. Nearly 2,500 footballers participated in the tournament, accompanied by their families, creating an atmosphere of respect, inclusion, and healthy competition.
Highlights by category
U14 Category
Real Sociedad claimed the title after defeating Manchester City 3-0 in the final. Interestingly, Manchester City had beaten them 1-0 in the group stage, making the final a well-deserved rematch. Third place went to Sweden’s Hammarby.
U17 Category
Olympique Lyon defended their 2024 title and lifted the Golden Thunder trophy once again. After a draw in the final against Real Sociedad, they secured victory in the penalty shootout. Real Madrid finished in third place.
Legends Category
The team of national legends from the Spanish Footballers’ Association (AFE) triumphed once again, proving that skill and passion endure over time.
