In July, the Tximist Foundation took part in the Yoshito Cup, an international tournament held in Sitges. The event was organized by renowned former Japanese footballers Yoshito Okubo and Kimitoshi Nougawa. In this edition, the foundation took on the leadership of the invited international team.

This team was made up of young talents from clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Sevilla, Arsenal, and Marseille. It was coached by Aintzane Encinas, president of the Tximist Foundation and a professional football coach.

During the tournament, the team played against several Catalan teams. They also competed against Yoshito’s Japanese academy, which brought around 60 players from Japan. Thanks to their collective effort, the international team reached the final in their category and finished as runners-up.

In addition, the event included a very special moment. Yoshito Okubo was officially named ambassador of ‘THE EQUALITY BALL’. This ball represents equal opportunities in football. The project was created by the Tximist Foundation to promote access to sport, regardless of origin or background.

The players on the international team also got to know the ball. They played with it and enthusiastically joined the cause, understanding its symbolic and social value.

The Tximist Foundation sincerely thanks the Yoshito Cup organizers for their trust. We continue working to use sport as a tool for social transformation, guided by values and commitment.
