Tximist Foundation Receives Bidean Recognition at the Euskadi Agenda 2030 Awards

The Tximist Foundation has been awarded the Bidean recognition as part of the Euskadi Agenda 2030 Awards. This distinction highlights its commitment to integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its management model.

The award ceremony took place on April 29 at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. The event was chaired by Asier Aranbarri, Director of Social Innovation and Agenda 2030 at Lehendakaritza.

This recognition is promoted by the Directorate of Social Innovation and Agenda 2030. Its main goal is to encourage the integration of the SDGs as a key factor for sustainable competitiveness, while strengthening the real commitment of organizations to the Agenda 2030.

Recognition of Progress in Sustainability

A total of 102 organizations from different sectors and sizes have been recognized in this second edition. Among them, 16 entities achieved the intermediate Bidean level, including the Tximist Foundation.

In addition:

  • 7 organizations reached the highest level, Aurreratua
  • 64 organizations obtained the basic level, Konpromisoa

These recognitions pursue two main objectives:

  • To identify leading organizations in SDG integration and serve as benchmarks
  • To acknowledge the effort and progress made in sustainability

A Rigorous Evaluation Process

To obtain the Bidean level, organizations must pass an external evaluation process developed by EUSKALIT.

This evaluation includes a working session with the management team, supported by experts in advanced management and sustainability. Their insights help identify strengths and areas for improvement.

The process is based on the SDG Integration Framework, a tool that:

  • Assesses alignment with the Agenda 2030
  • Supports the integration of sustainability across all organizational areas

Driving Continuous Improvement

This recognition reflects the Tximist Foundation’s commitment to continuous improvement. The organization is moving towards a more sustainable management model aligned with global challenges.

Participation in this initiative represents another step forward. It also provides opportunities to share best practices and reinforces active contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals.
