Promoting Women’s Soccer in the U.S.

The WomanGoal Global Draft gathered 50 talented soccer players from across the state, including 8 outstanding goalkeepers. As a result, the event became a unique platform to showcase skills, open doors to future opportunities, and strengthen the visibility of women’s soccer in the United States.

In addition, the NWSL was represented by Scarlett Camberos, who motivated participants with an inspiring talk. Moreover, media outlets captured the excitement and highlighted the positive impact of the draft.

Tximist Foundation’s Role

Reflecting on the event, Encinas highlighted the rapid growth of women’s soccer in the U.S. and the diversity of talent that promises a bright future. Furthermore, the partnership between  Tximist Foundation and WomanGoal underlines a strong commitment to equality, empowerment, and female leadership in sports.

During the visit, Fundación Tximist also thanked San Diego Wave FC, reigning NWSL regular-season champions, for their warm welcome and for showing how a champion team works. Encinas also acknowledged the support of Casey Stoney, Jackie Bachteler, Lorna Harkins, and the entire staff.

Opportunities for Businesses and Institutions

The event also opened the door to strategic partnerships with companies committed to gender equality. Thanks to the “Universo Mujer III” program, both businesses and individual donors can receive significant tax benefits when supporting Tximist Foundation’s initiatives.

This support not only boosts women’s sports but also drives social transformation through football. For example, the TXIMIST CUP celebrates inclusion, equality, and sporting talent.

A Shared Experience

The initiative also included Martina Olivas, Josele González, Víctor Arce, and Carlos Ortiz, who traveled with Encinas to represent the foundation. Encinas expressed her gratitude for this enriching journey and praised the collaboration of dedicated professionals.

Finally, the event was further strengthened by the contribution of Julia Dangond, whose work added value to every stage. In conclusion, Encinas reaffirmed that football continues to be a powerful tool for unity, equality, and opportunity.
