In October, the tournament was officially recognised as an “Event of Public Interest” within the Women’s Universe Programme by the CSD, a distinction that highlights its competitive level and its most memorable matches. Over the years, the Tximist Cup has become the stage where some of the strongest teams in women’s football measure their talent and ambition.
This year’s edition, known as the “Women’s Youth League”, will bring together clubs that have made history in the UEFA Women’s Champions League. Among the participating teams are: Olympique Lyon, FC Barcelona, RB Leipzig, VfL Wolfsburg, Grasshopper Zurich, FC Twente, Deportivo Alavés, WomanGoal, Athletic Club, Selección AFE, Selección de Gipuzkoa, and three Real Sociedad teams competing in the U17, U14 and Legends categories.
The tournament will be broadcast live worldwide, offering thousands of viewers a powerful mix of talent, rivalry and passion. Everything suggests that this edition will become one of the most unforgettable chapters in the history of the Tximist Cup.
The event will open with the SHE LEADS Congress, an unprecedented format that will take place on 14 June at 18:00at the Reale Arena. This congress will bring together women leaders and influential figures in global football, such as Beatriz Álvarez, President of Liga F, and Garbiñe Etxeberria, Sporting Director of Real Sociedad, among many others. The session will be led by Aintzane Encinas, President of the Tximist Foundation.
SHE LEADS aims to create a space for sharing experiences, generating knowledge and highlighting the essential role of women in sport and football leadership.
The excitement is growing as fans look forward to enjoying top-level women’s football at the 8th edition of the Tximist Cup. The countdown has officially begun.

Tximist Foundation has been awarded the Gipuzkoarren Kirola 2025 Prize. This recognition, comes through a popular vote.
The president of Tximist Foundation will be one of the keynote speakers at the IV Women and Sport Congress (CEMYD), to be held in Donostia / San Sebastián in 2025.
The Tximist Foundation supports equality and access to sport in Cape Town, working alongside the LALIGA Foundation to empower local communities.
