This year, the Tximist Cup not only promises to be a vibrant football competition, but will also get off to a spectacular start with an unprecedented international congress. On 14 June, the Reale Arena will host the ‘She Leads’ Congress, a meeting point where 12 women leaders from the world of football will unite their voices and share their experiences to generate knowledge and promote female empowerment in sport.
From 18:00 to 20:30, these outstanding leaders will gather at the stadium to address crucial topics such as:
– The Role of Women in Football: Progress and Challenges: An in-depth analysis of the progress made and the obstacles that still remain in the inclusion of women in football.
– Women’s Leadership in Sport: Experiences and Perspectives: Testimonials and reflections from women who have taken on leadership roles in sport, sharing their journeys and learnings.
– Empowering Women in Football: Success Stories: Inspiring stories of women who have managed to break barriers and achieve success in football, serving as role models for new generations.
– Current Challenges and Opportunities for Women in Football Clubs: A discussion on the difficulties faced by women in football clubs and the emerging opportunities for their inclusion and growth.
– Leadership in Management and Gender Equity in Sport: Strategies and best practices to promote gender equity in sport management and foster a more inclusive and just environment.
The She Leads Congress will not only be a knowledge-sharing event, but also a celebration of women’s leadership in football, highlighting the vital role that women play in the sport globally. By inaugurating this congress, the Tximist Foundation reaffirms its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.
In addition, in order to be an inclusive and accessible space, the ‘She Leads’ Congress will have simultaneous translation into sign language, ensuring that deaf people can fully participate and benefit from all discussions and presentations.
