The Tximist Foundation and the personal training and injury rehabilitation center ZUHEGAN have renewed their collaboration agreement with the aim of continuing to promote equality, health, and the development of women’s sport in the Basque Country and internationally.
This strategic partnership reinforces both organizations’ commitment to increasing the visibility of women athletes, fostering female leadership, and creating safe and professional environments for the growth of girls’ and women’s sport.
A partnership based on shared values
The renewal of this agreement consolidates a relationship built on shared values such as equal opportunities, women’s empowerment, and the holistic well-being of athletes.
The president of the Tximist Foundation, Aintzane Encinas, highlights that:
“Renewing this agreement with ZUHEGAN means continuing to grow alongside professionals who understand women’s sport through excellence, care, and commitment. We share a clear vision of the importance of continuing to create opportunities for women both on and off the field.”
On her side, Ainara Manterola, director of ZUHEGAN, states that:
“For ZUHEGAN, it is very important to continue being part of the Tximist family. We believe in the transformative power of sport and in the need to keep supporting projects that generate a real impact on the lives of many girls and women athletes.”
ZUHEGAN’s commitment to athletes
At ZUHEGAN, the commitment to performance, health, and the comprehensive development of athletes remains at the core of the project.
Jon Manuel Vega, co-founder of the center, emphasizes this philosophy:
“ZUHEGAN remains focused on athletes, supporting them throughout all stages of their development. Our goal is to provide individualized work that improves performance, prevents injuries, and promotes a solid and sustainable athletic progression over time.”
Female leadership driving sport forward
Both the Tximist Foundation and ZUHEGAN are led by women with extensive experience in professional sport, sports management, and female leadership.
This collaboration brings together experience, knowledge, and resources to continue providing tools that support the sporting and personal growth of women athletes.
Additionally, both entities will continue working together on initiatives focused on:
- Promoting women’s sport
- Injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Comprehensive athlete support
- Training for female coaches and leaders
- International visibility of women’s football
ZUHEGAN will remain part of the TXIMIST CUP
As part of this renewed agreement, ZUHEGAN will continue actively collaborating in the TXIMIST CUP, one of the fastest-growing international women’s football events.
Their participation will remain key in areas related to personal training, physical recovery, and athlete care, helping to deliver a top-level sporting experience.
A further step toward equality in sport
The renewal of this collaboration represents another step forward in the Tximist Foundation’s mission to build a more equal, inclusive, and sustainable sporting environment.
Thanks to partnerships like this, the Foundation continues strengthening its network of collaborators committed to the development of women’s sport and the well-being of women athletes.
